How To Do A Tricep Dip

Written Instructions

  1. Rest on a bench with your arms gripped behind you over the edge of the bench just wider than shoulder width apart, legs should be extended straight out information of you, resting on your heels.
  2. Extended your arms fully and bring your body up against the bench so it’s upright.
  3. Keeping elbows pinched together, fire them backwards so that the body is lowered towards the floor.
  4. Once you’ve reached a 90 degree angle with the arms, use the triceps to fire the body back up until the arms are fully extended again.

Regression

Finding this a bit too tough on your triceps? Make the move easier by performing it with your legs up bent. Have your feet on the floor with your legs bent to 90 degrees.

Looking for more of a flamin' challenge? Try doing feet elevated tricep dips, elevating your feet can really help you step up your training and get your sweat on.
