How To Do A Dumbbell Lateral Raise

Written Instructions

  1. Stand with your feet slightly wider than shoulder width apart, with knees slightly bent.
  2. Start with dumbbells down by your side in a neutral position, this is with your palms facing inwards, towards your body.
  3. Raise your arms up to the side until they reach shoulder levels, maintaining a slight bend in your elbow.
  4. Once you’ve reached shoulder height, lower the arms to starting position.
