How To Do A Pull Up

Written Instructions

  1. Jump up and grip the bar with hands shoulder width apart, knuckles should be facing the sky.
  2. Hang with your arms fully extended.
  3. Brace your core.
  4. Pull your body up towards the bar until your chin goes over the bar, focus on using the back muscles to squeeze yourself up.
  5. Once your chin has gone over the bar, slowly lower yourself back down until your arms are fully extended again.
