- Jump up and grip the bar with hands shoulder width apart, knuckles should be facing the sky.
- Hang with your arms fully extended.
- Brace your core.
- Pull your body up towards the bar until your chin goes over the bar, focus on using the back muscles to squeeze yourself up.
- Once your chin has gone over the bar, slowly lower yourself back down until your arms are fully extended again.
